Coach Profile

I’ve been a successful leader and manager within health and social care for 30 years holding national, regional and CEO roles.

I started off supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health problems. I then became a patient advocate ensuring their voices were heard and their wishes known.

Seven years ago, I found myself feeling stuck. I’d achieved so much - but I didn’t know where to go next.

I had life coaching and it transformed my professional and personal life. And in the process, my relationships dramatically improved.

I started to experience new levels of freedom in my life.

I loved this so much that I got trained up as a coach and started coaching people alongside my senior roles. As things developed, I then made the jump to starting my own coaching business.

When I came into coaching, I recognised that I have the ability and resources to navigate my challenges well, and to handle periods of large-scale change effectively.

Now, I empower and release people, and help them to change their own lives. It’s incredibly fulfilling, inspiring, and humbling to see them grow.

Having been through my own changes, I have empathy and appreciation for clients’ situations. But it also helps me to maintain my position that I don’t need to ‘fix’ my clients. Instead, with support, they too can have the ability and resources to rise to their own challenges and make the changes that they need in their lives.

I’m a practicing Christian. I enable clients with a faith to explore this area if they wish. But I have clients who follow a faith and those who don’t, and value them equally.
