Many of us don’t spend all our working days indoors. Instead, we can be ‘out and about’ - on the road, travelling to meetings and so on. Some of our most important and useful work conversations with colleagues are when we’re out of the office and travelling together, with a bit more time to discuss things. 

That’s how Outdoor Coaching came about. 

Those of us who spend a lot of time indoors may prefer to talk and think in the outdoors. There’s something about having more physical space that can really help us to get more mental and emotional space. And meeting outdoors during the Covid pandemic has been safer and so more important to us .

So, now we offer any of the types of coaching outdoors.

 

Being outside boosts your vitamin D levels, your immune system, energy levels, and your alertness. It also reduces stress and lowers your blood pressure. And you’re getting exercise at the same time! 

We have sessions in a suitable safe and open public area. This could be a park or field. Or if you’re lucky enough to live near the sea, on a coastal walk or on a beach. 

We’ll have a meeting point. We could meet at a coffee shop for a take-out cuppa. From there, we’ll do a circuit, arriving back where we started. The location is carefully chosen so we can keep our conversation private from others. 

The content of the session is the same as it would be inside or on Zoom. For those close enough to meet up and want to try the outdoors, it’s worked really well.
